Drinks, treats and beats were abundant as hatters got their hands on the new hats. The tradition stemmed from a time when wearing hats outdoors was a necessity and leaving the house without one is nothing short of a scandal. Only 150 hats were hand-crafted by our custom hatters, Christa, Becky and Halley at our North Beach custom hat shop. Nine styles complete this collection with each piece named after a Kentucky Derby horse. The hats bands are hand-sewn and hand-tacked, using high-quality raw silk, vintage ribbons, and special selected adornments.

The Kentucky Derby Collection is only available in select hat shops: Gaslamp, Nob Hill, Larimer Square, Santa Barbara, Lakeview, Old Town, Nashville, Newbury, French Quarter, and West Village.
