Long Lost Goorin
Long Lost Goorin
An heirloom is defined as a valued possession passed down in a family through succeeding generations. When one of our beloved Goorin patrons inquired about the age of a hat that has been in his family for some time now, we happened to stumble upon an amazing Goorin Bros. artifact.

This bowler was made in the original Pennsylvania factory in the year 1930 when Goorin Bros. was headed by none other than founder Cassel Goorin. It is amazing that we can be presented with such a rare and timeless piece that connects two estranged families together in hat love harmony. What is even more enthralling is that the same blocks used to make this hat 80 years ago are still being used today to craft gems like the 'Samson' (pictured below), which is our current take on this classic bowler style, and part of our American-made handcrafted Heritage Line.
To our native Pennsylvania family of hat lovers, The Goorin Bros. family thanks you for passing a piece of your family tradition back into ours.
