New 1333 Minna Print
Reyes, Amanda Lynn and Steel drafted a new 1333 Minna poster to celebrate the release of the Fall Collection. The line drops August 7th online and in our Hat Shops. Our friends at Moon Editions printed a signed and numbered series of 100 serigraphs for the upcoming event. August 14th marks the date of our release party for the Fall Collection. Select Hat Shops will be including one of these limited edition prints with purchase of a 1333 Minna hat during event. Stay tuned for details.
Heritage
We are a few weeks away from releasing our Fall Heritage Collection, a line of American Made hand crafted fedoras. This line pays tribute to our founder Cassel Goorin, living up to his high standard of craftsmanship in hatmaking. Our art department designed, printed and constructed these boxes to be used as signage in our Hat Shops. Stay tuned for previews of the Fall Heritage Collection, dropping August 15th.
Etched
Our friends at Moon Editions just ran off some samples of new signage for our Hat Shops. Moon Editions specializes in quality printing, letter press and etching. These wooden and cardstock signs were laser etched in San Francisco out of their studio space in the Sunset District.
Cock Of The Walk
Amanda Lynn just finished this new painting of a proud Rooster for our Fall 2011 collection. The trusted Rooster has been an icon in the Goorin Family for years and shows no sign of retreat anytime soon.
New Styles
We just released some new styles online and in our Hat Shops. All these styles are select early releases from our Fall 2010 collection. Expect more sneak peaks and some early releases of Fall 2010 styles over the next few weeks.
Sneak Peek Of Fall 10 Collection
The 1333 Minna Fall 2010 Collection releases mid August in our Hat Shops and on Goorin.com. This collection offers more styles for women, introducing some vintage classics. Amanda Lynn created this amazing chrysanthemum fabric from her illustrations and worked them into two of our favorite vintage feminine shapes.
The Fabulous 40's
Amanda Lynn finished a new sketch for a series featuring fabulous women from the 1940's. This is the first of the series and is titled 'After Dinner Guest'.
Peekaboo Ties
To celebrate our love of vintage ties the art department has been at work creating our version of the classic Peakaboo Tie. These ties first became an icon in American Fashion after World War II with the explosion of the Pinup Girl craze. The traditional construction of this tie matches a vintage fabric with a Pinup Girl sewn into the lining of the tie. Goorin superstars Anna and Amanda Lynn teamed up to create a line of these classic Peakaboo Ties with our own Pinup Girls. Signage
Our art department has been at work creating Goorin signage for our hat shops. All of these signs are drafted by our artists and hand screenprinted in our studio space in San Francisco.
Meet Mr. Fits-All
Right out of our 1950's catalogs comes Mr. Fits-All, a classically intense gentleman who's #1 priority is fit. When it comes to hats, the right fit is very important. Our art department is at work revisiting the character of Mr. Fits-All and illustrating some new personalities and situations. Stay tuned and follow the adventures of this classic Goorin icon.
