Developed in the late 17th century, Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square was known as the most fashionable residential section in the 1850s, home to Philadelphia's 'Victorian aristocracy'. Today, it is a bustling tree-filled park with annual flower markets and outdoor exhibitions.
