measure YOUR HEAD

Step 1

STEP 1

Locate a soft, flexible seamstress tape measure. Determine the widest portion of your head, typically starting just above the eyebrows and in the rear, you may feel a slight knot on the back of your skull.

tip

No soft tape measure? Simply cut a 30” piece of string and grab a yard stick.

Step 2

STEP 2

Using a mirror, place the tape so that centimeters are visible starting at the front and wrap it comfortably around your head covering the widest portion until it overlaps above the eyebrows and ears.

tip

If using a string method, follow the steps above. Mark on the string where it overlaps so that you can lay it down against the yard stick to determine the length in inches.

Step 3

STEP 3

You should be left with a measurement between 52 & 63 centimeters. Use our provided conversion chart below to determine your appropriate hat size. Enjoy.

Love this hat, own two of them

I love this hat, but some of the critique in the comments is valid: • the size is a bit larger than the typical Goorin sizing. My head is 23.5cm and I have an XL, and it ran a bit large. Not sure if this is a well known trick or not, but I put a double sided tape inside the seem over about a half of the circumference. That brought the size down to where it’s perfect. I do not have any issues with the fabric irritating my skin. It feels warm on my head, so it’s best suited for colder weather. But the color, shape, and the looks are well worth the five stars.

Not as expected

The hat brim was shaped like a cowboy hat (not like the pic). I tried steaming it to reshape it but it stayed the same.

Nice hat but...

At a glance the hat band looks similar to my other goorin hats but they have clearly used a different material as this one irritates my skin and caused chafing on my forehead...so ultimately a complete waste of $ for me. This also runs larger than other goorin hats.
