One hat, styled Four ways
Baja is back baby - this hat is one of my absolute favorites we've made from years past. I remember the Nashville shop having ONE left and it was hiding in the backroom and I was like ... what is this gloriously large brimmed hat. The first things that attracted me to this style were 1) the extra wide flat stiff brim 2) the telescope crown 3) the weight of the palm straw. All of these details made this hat super unique for me, even though it's a natural color that we make a lot, for those reasons this one stood out!
The Details: Baja is a gambler-style fedora with a wide brim made from 100% palm leaf. UPF-50 rating, providing 98% UV radiation block. It features a 4” telescope crown, 3 3/4” flat stiff brim, a full wrap leather hatband, and a genuine leather sweat band.
Date Night: Silk skirt, red lipstick and mezcal in hand - throw on the widest brim you own and OWN it.
Sunday Plant Shopping: Can't be a Sunday Funday without buying new plants. My favorite local shop has an outdoor garden in the back with overflow of terracotta pots and cacti. The Baja kept me shaded while I shopped for unnecessary (but necessary) additions to the guest room.
Patio Dinner Party: One of the best summer traditions is having friends over for dinner outside. Keep yourself feeling casual at home, yet the hostess-with-the-mostest by throwing on Baja.
Day At The Lake: Summer isn't officially over until you celebrate one last time at the lake. Palm straw is the perfect companion for swimming and looking cool while doing it.
