And you thought the holidays were over? In fact, they’ve just begun. With the exception of New Year’s Day, NHD is the first holiday of the year. Though the origin of its roots is dubious, there’s no question that National Hat Day was created by bold, hat-loving individuals, much like ourselves. You included. There is no evidence to suggest that this is truly a “National” day. That would require an act of Congress, but we’ve got hats and we’ve got heads and there are no rules necessary in order to put the two together, and celebrate. Besides, hats are a little more about breaking the rules, right?
Let the good times roll.
Did somebody say rules? We actually have a few worth following. We’d like to invite you into the shop to celebrate with us. Check with your local hatshop for specific details. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at a game of “Fortune Favors the Bold,” before making your purchase. You could win discounts, freebies or even a $100 off of your transaction.
We’ll be there rooting for you. *Not Available Online
National Hat Day is not intended to just keep your head warm and dry, it’s a chance to make a statement, to express yourself and share your passion for hats with those around you. Whether you have a favorite or you prefer to wear many different hats over the course of the day; or even all at the same time, we’d love to see.
Tag your photos on Instagram with #GoorinNHD. We’ll be selecting 3 lucky winners at random to receive a $50 Gift Card to use towards the purchase of their next hat.
