We are currently searching for Stylists (Sales Associates) with prior sales and/or customer service experience for our hat shop located in The District neighborhood of Nashville. Ideal candidates have open availability.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Learning about, wearing, and selling Goorin Brothers hats
  • Providing the exceptional customer experiences
  • Building sales to include a full customer experience & meeting key performance indicator goals

You will establish your store as a part of the local community through unique events and relationships with your neighborhood and customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:

    Staff Accountant

    San Francisco, CA

    Goorin Bros is looking for a Staff Accountant to join the Accounting team. This is a key role that will assist in preparing data in ERP modules in a fast-paced, complex environment. In this role, you will work under the Controller and alongside our staff accountants, assist in streamlining accounting processes in NetSuite, and work on various special projects. Goorin Bros located in San Francisco, CA in the Mission District right next to Franklin Square. This is a full-time position.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in AR and AP processes in NetSuite
  • Prepare AR and AP schedules for the Controller
  • Assist Controller with weekly duties and month-end close, ad-hoc and annual audits, accounting policy research and rollouts
  • Ability to create, develop and adhere to accounting procedures / schedules for sub-ledgers
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc projects as required by the Controller and VP Finance
  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a corporate accounting role or accounting firm
  • Detail-oriented self-starter who is able to perform independently and manage time
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Understanding and application of US GAAP required
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Recommended Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Audit Firm or Corporate Experience
  • NetSuite, SAP or other familiarity with ERP systems
  • Familiarity with internal controls (SOX) and proper documentation
  • Retail & Manufacturing Industry or relevant experience
