    Manager of Inventory Replenishment

    San Francisco, CA

    Goorin Bros. is looking to add a Manager of Inventory Replenishment to our Home Office team located in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, collaborative, strategic and detailed thinker and skilled in data analysis, executing strategic plans, and accomplishing business objectives.

    The Manager of Inventory Replenishment will support the business through the replenishment and allocation of product to our retail stores. This position contributes directly to the financial success of our retail division by meeting inventory turn goals and by allocating inventory appropriately.

    Responsibilities include using historical data, daily sales analysis and current store stock levels to create replenishment schedules, proactively identify individual stores’ product strengths and partnering with store managers and home office business partners.

    Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with the Assortment Planning/Buying team on product and store allocation needs, executing seasonal and fashion assortment plan deliveries and adjust replenishment to match anticipated and current sales demand
  • Collaborate with IT, Production, Logistics and Assortment Planning/Buying teams to assess, manage, and improve replenishment request process
  • Develop reporting needs to identify new item success as well as overstocks in order to minimize liability and maximize inventory flow
  • Drive sales by communicating regularly with store managers to identify sales trends and appropriate stock levels specific to each store for all assigned product classifications and provide inventory support as needed
  • Provide recommendations for min/max inventory levels based on store and product performance to achieve targets for high sell through and turn
  • Collaborate with Assortment Planning/Buying team to execute new store opening inventory levels and initial sales and allocation needs
  • Manage and analyze POP supplier including forecasting inventory needs
  • Develop and provide weekly reporting and action analysis to functional business partners
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 – 8 years’ experience with allocation and/or merchandising within the retail industry, preferably in apparel/accessory production
  • Experience working in ERP systems
  • SAP Business One and Netsuite experience a plus
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think critically and communicate complex thoughts and/or ideas in clear and concise manner
  • Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
