Where It’s Made
Adamstown, PA
Est. 1868
Our Heritage Collection is handcrafted at our original factory in Adamstown, PA, where our hats were made when the company began in 1895. Founded in 1868, they are America’s oldest hat maker. Their long and proud heritage carries on today as a testimony to the vision, perseverance, and hard work of generations. Located in Adamstown, Pennsylvania, they manufactures wool felt, fur felt, and straw hats. More importantly, they are an employee-owned company, where employees have an invested interest and own a percentage of the factory. There are 3rd and 4th generation employees whose parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles have worked their entire lives at the hat factory.
