The roots of this multi-generational family business trace back to the 1700’s as America prepared to secure its freedom in the Revolutionary War. The builders of this factory were pioneers in harnessing steam power for wool felt hat making. The factory was built on the shoulders of hard work and fine craftsmanship – which is why we make our authentic American blocked felts in westerns, fedoras and rugged outdoor styles.
