One of the most asked questions we get from customers walking into our doors is "but when would I wear a hat?" The answer is layered. On on hand, you can wear a hat for function. Like, on a camping trip or to the beach and need sun protection. Or, you want to match a suit for a wedding. The other answer is for style: hats are just another part of your outfit and your personal style.

Since we're talking style, let's talk the most classic Americana look: the t-shirt and jeans. If you would have asked me ten years ago if I would be rockin' a tee/jeans look almost daily, I would have laughed. I was the type of girl in high school who exclusively wore dresses. Historically I've always been the type of dresser to push boundaries- mix and match patterns, try asymmetrical layers, anything that had to be 'pulled off' I was like sign me up! Back in 2017 I started working for a denim brand and the tee/jean combo was the staple and so I was introduced. Through those few years I depended solely on accessories: jewelry, jackets, shoes, bandanas, and of course hats.

Adding a hat to your outfit is the easiest and probably coolest thing you can do. It's essentially effortless while looking like you are the most stylish human on earth. I promise you, I've gotten more compliments on my "outfit" when its been a solid tee, some vintage denim and a bad-ass wide brim hat.

The best part about styling with a simple outfit? Every single hat you try on will look awesome with it - just depends on what vibe you're going for that day! Check it out, try it out, you won't be disappointed.
