Join me on my day out and about in East Nashville with me and my easy throw on and look cool as heck hat choice: Happy Trails.
First stop of the day was local spot The Bookshop, where I had a gift card from Christmas. I love everything about a book store - the smell, the quiet, the colors of the spines of the books, the genres and categories, everything. (Can you tell I'm actually the dorkiest?) After about a gracious 40 mins I picked up the last one that caught my eye, (Zadie Smith stories) and just went for it.
Next stop was some breakfast tacos over at one of my favorite spots, Redheaded Stranger. And yes, Willie Nelson's vinyl album is framed up on the wall. If you're visiting Nashville, you MUST check it out, their queso, poblano and whipped feta taco, and green chili cheeseburger are some sneaky favs.
Lastly, had to head over to local coffee shop Barista Parlor for my fav spring/summer menu item: the honey lavender latte. So refreshing and not too sweet, easy to drink! Hung out for a few hours getting some much needed work done. Barista is great because they just play vinyls all day and so the genre and vibe is always different. Garage doors opened up on days that temperatures aren't 90+ and huge open concept industrial interiors.
All in all, I had a great afternoon exploring and showing some love to the local spots IYKYK.
Happy Trails was the perfect companion with its medium-width brim it was lightweight and easy walking from place to place. Check out how I added vintage accessories to mine over on the blog here.Keep following along to see more hat adventures out in the wild: Get Out with Goorin!
